FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h course
FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h course is sufficient training for work environments with low accident risks. Such work environments include offices, agencies, and shops. Certain professions also have additional requirements for the content of first aid training – a typical example of this is electricians and other personnel who work with electricity. The FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h course also includes first aid training topics for the electrical industry according to the Finnish electrical safety standard SFS6002.
The goal of the FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h course is to increase the courage to help in life-threatening situations. In the emergency first aid training, you will learn comprehensive skills and gain the confidence to act in sudden life-threatening and emergency situations, as well as learn to recognize the most common medical emergencies.
The FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h course is suitable for learning the most important life-saving emergency first aid knowledge and skills and ensuring first aid competence in a low-risk environment. The course is well-suited for individuals without prior first aid training. Additionally, the training is excellent as a refresher course for more experienced first aiders, as it allows you to extend the validity of the The FRC First Aid Course EA 1® or The FRC First Aid Course EA 2® certificate by three years once.
The FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h course is a certified training. Upon completion, you will receive an FRC First Aid Certificate, which is valid for 3 years.
The FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h course is particularly suitable for you, if you want to:
- learn emergency first aid comprehensively and flexibly through theory and practical exercises, even if you do not have previous first aid training
- ensure first aid competence in a low-risk environment, such as an office, shop, restaurant, or when working remotely, as well as in various hobby groups
- update the validity of the SPR First Aid Course EA1® or SPR First Aid Course EA2® certification for three more years or otherwise review already learned knowledge and skills.
The FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h online course covers a wide range of emergency first aid topics and encourages learning the most important life-saving skills through diverse exercises.
This is a full-day (8h) emergency first aid course where you will learn, among other things, resuscitation, the use of a defibrillator, wound dressing, and first aid for various medical emergencies.
The self-study online course and instructor-led webinar (remote training) also include a comprehensive range of practical exercises.

This course includes first aid training topics for the electrical industry according to the Finnish electrical safety standard SFS 6002.
Online courses also include exercises that utilize materials and equipment found at home. However, you do not need to acquire any new equipment to complete the course, as you can use what is already available at your workplace or home.
